Yawn and meh. This stuff is amateur hour compared to how dead-on Gurevitch nailed Gorey in this Perry Bible Fellowship:

I'l have to disagree with you, #1. PBF's art is more elaborate but less Goreyesque, and Gurevitch doesn't have Gorey's or Garrity's off-kilter sense of storytelling.

I don't think Garrity really captured Gorey. There's not nearly enough cross-hatching. The font is good, and she's got the profiles down pretty well, but it doesn't really make me think of Gorey.
