Salvador Dali on "What's My Line?"

LinkWhen I saw the BoingBoing post about John Cage appearing on a game show, I decided to upload a clip of Salvador Dali appearing on another 1950s game show, What's My Line.
The clip is part of a series on my Web site, kembrew.com, titled "The Duchamp Found Pop Culture Object Theater."
The blindfolded panelists are completely flummoxed when Dali responds affirmatively to the following questions about his line of work, including:
Q: Are you involved in the arts?
A: Yes.
Q: Are you a performer?
A: Yes.
Q: Are you involved in sports or athletics?
Q: Yes.
Then it gets more, well, surreal. My favorite question was:
Q: Is there something quite unusual about this man?

Ha-ha, classic. Salvador Dali certainly was a complex and controversial character. On DalÃ's personality, George Orwell once remarked that 'one ought to be able to hold in one's head simultaneously the two facts, that Dalà is a good draughtsman and a disgusting human being, the one does not invalidate or, in a sense, affect the other.' Lol! Cheers, Bert
