Singularity Institute raising money for "stable self-improving systems"

Tyler sez, "The Singularity Institute for Artificial Intelligence announced today a $400,000 Online Matching Challenge, backed by PayPal Co-Founder and Former CEO Peter Thiel, to fund their long-term research program to develop safe, stable self-improving systems.
