Silly shipping label for wine

Wineship The US Postal service is doing its part to prevent drunk people from ordering more alcohol to be sent to them in the mail.

The label reads: "ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. CANNOT DELIVER TO INTOXICATED PERSONS."

That's inconvenient! That means drunk people will have to get in their car and drive to a liquor store.

Take a look at this

It's a colon after beverages, not a period. But it's still poorly worded. They should have "Do not" instead of "Cannot". It should be:

Alcoholic Beverages: Do not deliver to intoxicated persons.

The way they have it it means much the same thing but it's more like:

(You) cannot deliver (this) to intoxicated persons.
