Found: heavy safe in middle of street
Police in Tacoma are still looking for the owner of a large, heavy safe that was found sitting in a street in downtown Tacoma last month.
Too bad the safe wasn't found in Boston, because the police there would have blow'd it up right away and we'd get to find out what's in it. Link (Thanks, Biotic!)The officer who found the safe couldn’t budge it and called a tow truck to move it. The safe was attached to a chain and was scratched as though “someone was trying to pull it down the roadway,” Fulghum said.
Whoever that was apparently left the safe in the middle of the street. Police have found no witnesses to the dragging.
