Link (via Kottke)Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening? Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder. We've got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, "Stay the course."
Stay the course? You've got to be kidding. This is America, not the damned Titanic. I'll give you a sound bite: Throw the bums out!
You might think I'm getting senile, that I've gone off my rocker, and maybe I have. But someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country anymore. The President of the United States is given a free pass to ignore the Constitution, tap our phones, and lead us to war on a pack of lies. Congress responds to record deficits by passing a huge tax cut for the wealthy (thanks, but I don't need it). The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs. While we're fiddling in Iraq, the Middle East is burning and nobody seems to know what to do. And the press is waving pom-poms instead of asking hard questions. That's not the promise of America my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for. I've had enough. How about you?
I'll go a step further. You can't call yourself a patriot if you're not outraged. This is a fight I'm ready and willing to have.

Boy, am I upset. I have been informed by the media that it is the Iraq war and the war
on terror that is bankrupting us.
I now find that assertion to be RIDICULOUS.
I researched the following 14 reasons our economy is in trouble. I hope they are read over
and over again until they are re-read so many

If this doesn't bother you then you just aren't hearing the message. If, on the other hand, it does raise your blood pressure or at least hand t your wallet, I hope you have the boldness to talk about it to every legal resident in your circle of influence,
including every representative in Washington, D.C. - Do you know yours? Most of us don't. Nor do we know how to contact them except maybe leave an email...now there's a thought! We should be contacting them (there are ususally only 3 you can call yours: 2 senators and one congressional representative.) How hard is 3 letters...by email?
Do this five times a week for as long as it takes to ge a reply then perhaps we could get someone's attention. The illegals have the floor until we
restore some semblance of intelligence in our
policies and enforcement thereof.
Example: Kansas City A park board member appointed in 2007 by Mayor Funkhouser was a member of the Minute Men group. The Latino group Raza had planned their meeting in KC for 2008. When they heard of the park board member's affiliation they threatened to withdraw their convention unless she was fired. With no support from the Mayor, she resigned within a few months. By then Raza had already withdrawn and booked it's conveniton in San Diego. She had done nothing wrong. She is concerned about our country.
There will be more incidents as illegals and their sympathizers gain power.
I remain worried about our freedom.
