Chilling Effects founder takes on DMCA and wins
Denise sez, "Former EFF lawyer and Chilling Effects founder Wendy Seltzer recently used herself as a guinea pig to test how well the DMCA notification/counter-notification process worked to get a fair use Superbowl excerpt restored to YouTube. Wendy's clip went back up on March 6, and apparently her counter-notification sufficed to back down the NFL. I've aggregated her several posts about the saga, and was particularly glad she had the chance to highlight the automated counter-notification tool available at chillingeffects.org." Link (Thanks, Denise!)
