Beans with laser-etched greetings visible on sprouting
Denise sez, "These grow-it-yourself beans have been laser etched with the word 'Welcome' on the side: 'Given as friendship, house-warming, or hostess gifts, your recipient simply pulls off the foil top and bottom and adds a little water to the soil. In about a week or so, the bean will poke through the soil revealing the special message.' First Hushmail, now Bushmail? ('Did you say something?' 'No, it must've been the legume...')"
