But where does that leave the consumer? Average Joes like us who want to do the coolest stuff possible with a true next generation disc format are liable to be left off the BDA’s innovation train. The BDA’s unwillingness to support Vista features like Mandatory Managed Copy and iHD seems to be for no other reason than it wants to oppose Microsoft (which supports HD DVD).
