Record companies: Google should censor the US, same as China

James sez, "Did the RIAA just release a report that claimed since Google censored search results for China's citizens, it's now acceptable for ISP's to filter out "infringing" sites for US netziens? Hmmm... The Chinese government and the RIAA - two peas in a pod. Quite a marketing message they've got going on over there. Let the propaganda remixes begin!"
At one time you were considered a new media philistine if you wanted to regulate the Internet. But then Google promised the Chinese government that censorship was possible. Then Google blacklisted BMW in the Internet world for anti-social behavior. It seems policing is acceptable for all sorts of things but not intellectual property!
