Brit Science Fiction Award shortlist for 2006

Joe sez, "The shortlist nominations for one of the two top SF literary prizes in the UK (the other being the Arthur C Clarke Awards) the BSFAs are now online, with some cracking writers in there, including Ken MacLeod, M. John Harrison (with a sequel to the amazing Light, a total must-read), Jon Courtenay Grimwood, Liz Williams, Paul Gravett, Margo Lanagan and others. If anyone is looking for some suggestions for good recent reading they should have a look at some of these."

The BSFA list is a great way to get acquainted with the best work of the year -- hell, they even shortlisted my Hugo-nominated, Locus-Award-winning story "I, Robot," which appears in my new short story collection, Overclocked.
