Discarded Xmas trees of London

Jason sez, "As a little personal assignment, I went out and photographed discarded Xmas trees around central London. So few are recycled. I find the beauty of the trees discarded in such a manner to be quite interesting. I have tried to make each composition unique and memorable, and - as a rule - did not touch or move anything in the photos. They are all presented as I found them. I have posted 14 photos on Flickr. All these images were taken within this past week."
Link (Thanks, Jason!)

Update 1: Dylan sez, "I did the same thing a year ago in New York. I liked the way some had bits of police tape attached, like it was a crime scene - the corpses of Christmas."

Update 2: Ranjit sez, "one year I collected photos of Christmas trees next to station wagons. Once you start looking for them, it's like they have a magnetic attraction to each other."
