CC-licensed step files for Dance Dance Revolution
Eric sez, "More than a year ago Nynex suggested that songs under Creative Commons could be used in Dance Dance Revolution simulators. To that end, I converted the 18 songs from the Diesel:U:Music 2006 contest's final shortlist, which are released under a Creative Commons license. By using Dancing Monkeys, an open-source automated step file generator, it was just a few clicks (and some overnight processing) to convert the songs to step files that could be used with the open-source StepMania DDR simulator for the PC.
