Avoid crappy plane seats with this site: seatguru.com
This isn't a new website, and I'm probably the last person on the internet to discover it -- but seatguru.com offers seating charts for aircraft on all major carriers. Before you head out for holiday hang time with your folks back home, you can verify that the sweet seat you scored (a) reclines for chrissakes (b) has a power jack for your new MacBook in-flight power adaptor (c) is out of smell-range from the john.
