The amazing Maine Mystery Beast that many hoped had shuffled off this mortal coil several weeks ago is apparently not dead (undead?). DNA evidence reveals that the strange rotting animal found two weeks ago in Turner, Maine was, in fact, a dog. As Loren Coleman points out at Cryptomundo, this means that the real Mystery Beast with its glowing eyes and creepy cries is... still out there.
