Sharman Networks (the company behind Kazaa) has withdrawn from a libel suit against the P2P news site P2PNet. Previously, Sharman had joined with Kazaa CEO Nikki Hemming in a libel suit over P2PNet's publication of a user-comment saying nasty things about Hemming's compensation package. Sharman's — unexplained — withdrawal leaves Hemming alone in her suit.
