Turn a broken wineglass into a cheap phone alarm amplifier
This is a great idea: to boost the volume of your phone's alarm -- say, if you're a heavy sleeper -- you can rest it inside a large wine-balloon that's had its stem snapped off. The glass bowl acts as a resonating chamber for the alarm. Some enterprising glassblower should do a purpose-built version with an integrated charger.
