The incredible sound-mimicking lyrebird

Lyrebird Here's a video clip of a male Australian lyrebird, which sings complex songs to attract mates. Lyrebirds' songs are composed of sounds they hear, including sounds from machines, such as a camera's shutter mechanism and film drive, a car alarm, and logging equipment. This bird is like a tape recorder.
