Singularity Summit at Stanford this Saturday

The Singularity Summit at Stanford is coming to Sillicon Valley this Saturday, featuring an impressive variety of speakers on the Singularity, including Ray Kurzweil, Eric Drexler, Douglas R. Hofstadter, Steve Jurveston, Max More -- and me!

The conference is full, but there's a waiting list for last-minute additions. I'll be speaking on "Singularity or Dark Age? How the copyright wars threaten technological progress."

The Symbolic Systems Program and CSLI are pleased to host the Singularity Summit at Stanford, a rare gathering of thinkers to explore the rising impact of science and technology on society. The summit has been organized to further the understanding of a controversial idea – the singularity scenario.
