Replica skulls of early hominids for sale
New York's Evolution store specializes in natural history objects such as skulls and skeletons, fossils, minerals, antique anatomical charts and so on. The centerpiece of their inventory is a series of teaching-grade and museum-grade replica skulls of early hominids made from sturdy resin and plastic. I bought one of these today -- it was one of those things that you only realize that you've been looking for it all your life at the moment that you clap eyes on it. Pictured here, a teaching-grade replica of a Australopithecus africanus, a human ancestor that lived 3.3 million to 2.5 million years ago.
