What a cochlear implant actually sounds like

Boing Boing reader
Geoffrey says,
Regarding this earlier BB post which read in part -- "When the device was turned on a month after surgery, the first sentence I heard sounded like "Zzzzzz szz szvizzz ur brfzzzzzz?" My brain gradually learned how to interpret the alien signal. Before long, "Zzzzzz szz szvizzz ur brfzzzzzz?" became "What did you have for breakfast?" -- that made me wonder what it sounds like to have a cochlear implant. This interactive feature from a PBS show gives a good idea of what some people hear. (Speech only, no music).
