Flying manta-ray cousins in the Sea of Cortez
Michael Albert took these remarkable photos of mobulas -- a kind of ray, related to manta rays -- "breaching" in the Sea of Cortez. That is, zooming up to the surface and momentarily taking wing like a dolphin leaping out of the water.
