new flickr pool: Crappy Bootleg DVD covers
Flickr user El Primo just created a new flickr group and photo pool where folks can scan and share packaging from bad bootleg movies they've encountered. Crappy Bootleg DVD Covers is not a solicitation to support piracy. It's a collaborative effort to document a pop culture phenomenon of increasing legal, economic, and cultural significance. Oh, goddammit, alright -- it's all about the craptacular photoshoppery. Extra points for pirated packaging that contains anti-piracy warnings, like the Venezuelan example shown above.
