Finnish anti-appropriationist painter plagiarizes from BMEZine

Jukka Korkeila, a Finnish painter who insists that his paintings are wholly original, that he about whom it is said that he "does not quote or appropriate," has ripped off an image of a crazy penis-inserted-in-ear-piercing from the BME body-mod zine and included it in one of his paintings. As the owner of the BME site sez, "Jukka, if you're going to steal other people's ideas, there's nothing wrong with that -- in fact much of art's history is built around it -- but at least have the courage and strength of character to admit when you're doing it so blatantly."
