My new hometown of Takayama in the rural mountains of Japan is also the world headquarters for the Sukyo Mahikari cult (some less judgemental folk might call it a "religion"). Also in town is a museum run by Mahikari. Inside it I managed to get a couple of photos of the shrine to their founder. They're an international organization with some pretty freaky beliefs. But the again, they're not gassing any subway cars… yet.
