Aschroft: judges shouldn't uphold the Constitution
John Ashcroft, the former Attorney General of the United States of America, has given a public, blistering critique of judges who strike down the Bush administration's policies as unconstitutional.
"The danger I see here is that intrusive judicial oversight and second-guessing of presidential determinations in these critical areas can put at risk the very security of our nation in a time of war," Ashcroft said...Link (via Lawgeek)"Courts are not equipped to execute the law.
