Fuck direct quotes
Kudos to the Washington Post for being the only newspaper to actually spell out the word "fuck" when it came from Dick Cheney's lips last week. The LA Weekly has a survey of the substitutions:
The Boston Globe: Referred to the expletive as a “vulgar directive” and provided no other clues.Link
Calgary Sun: “(Bleep) off” or “Go (bleep) yourself.”
Daily News (New York): “Go f— yourself.”
