LA robot war event this weekend: Steel Conflict

Southern California 'bot aficionados, listen up: robocombat organization "Steel Conflict" is holding a tournament May 3rd and 4th during the Radio Control Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center. This is a 220- and 340-pound class event that will qualify two winners from each class for the National Tournament in late August of this year. Some machine-junkie pals who attended their February show in Los Angeles said good things about the tournaments -- so if any BoingBoingers attend, take some photos and post links in the discuss forum!
