In 1961, 23-year-old Michael Rockefeller (heir to the Rockefeller fortune) went to New Guinea on an anthropological expidition. He disappeared and after a massive search, he was presumed drowned or eaten by crocodiles. But two people claimed they had seen Rockefeller, who was being held by headhunting cargo-cult cannibals.
