Basil Wolverton was a comic


Basil Wolverton was a comic artist, best known for the incredibly ugly people he drew for Mad and other comic books. He also drew these frightening visions of the apocalpyse. The accompanying article is written by his son, Monte, who is the art director for the religious magazine The Plain Truth.
